Terms & conditions

A clear understanding of what ami is - and isn’t.

Updated: 8 October 2026 · Programme terms remain a draft

Most important

ami supports lifestyle change alongside your usual medical care. It is not emergency care, does not diagnose or prescribe, and must not be used to change medication without your prescribing clinician.

This is an informational website. Registrations, appointments, payments and medical-record uploads are closed. The programme terms below describe planned services and will be finalised before paid enrolment.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern your use of the ami health website, programmes, communications and related services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Programme availability may depend on location, health needs and professional assessment.

2. Scope of the Services

ami provides education, coaching, nutrition and physical-activity support, routine follow-ups, and progress reporting for chronic-care lifestyle goals. Services may involve clinical nutritionists, physical therapists, other appropriately qualified professionals and AI-assisted tools. The exact programme, channel, frequency and professional involvement will be described when you enrol.

3. Medical and emergency disclaimer

ami is not a substitute for a physician, diagnosis, treatment, emergency service or medical monitoring required by your clinician. Information and suggestions are general or lifestyle-focused and may not be suitable for everyone. Always seek qualified medical advice about a condition or symptom. Do not disregard or delay medical advice because of ami content.

Do not start, stop, reduce or otherwise change medication without your prescribing clinician. If you experience severe or worsening symptoms, or think you may have an emergency, stop using ami and contact local emergency services or an appropriate medical professional immediately.

4. Outcomes are not guaranteed

Research can guide care, but individual outcomes vary. ami does not guarantee weight loss, symptom reduction, improved test results, disease reversal, remission, reduced medication, or any other result. Reports may show associations between routines and progress; those correlations do not establish cause and effect.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, current information and tell us about relevant changes.
  • Follow safety instructions and professional limits communicated to you.
  • Continue appropriate care with your treating clinicians.
  • Use your account and communication channels securely.
  • Do not misuse the Services, impersonate others, interfere with systems, or upload unlawful or harmful content.

6. Caregiver and clinician reports

You may authorise an adult child, caregiver or clinician to receive reports. After authorisation, routine reports may be sent to that recipient by default until you pause or revoke sharing. You are responsible for giving correct recipient details and should nominate only someone you trust. Changes may take a reasonable time to process, and previously delivered copies cannot be recalled.

7. AI-assisted features

AI may help prepare routine prompts, summaries and possible patterns for review. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as a diagnosis, prescription or emergency instruction. We design our workflow so final clinically meaningful decisions within the Service remain human-led, but you remain responsible for seeking medical advice when needed.

8. Third-party services

The Services may use or link to third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, Apple services, Android or other providers. Their availability, security, features and terms are controlled by those providers. ami is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Fees, cancellation and programme terms

The three-month pain-relief programme costs INR 5,000 upfront: INR 1,000 for the doctor consultation, INR 2,400 for three home physiotherapy sessions at INR 800 each, and INR 1,600 for platform access. This is not an active checkout offer. Tax treatment and final operational terms will be shown before purchase.

At-home pain care is planned for Bangalore and Chennai, subject to clinical suitability, staffing and service-area confirmation. Consultation booking and online payment are not yet enabled. Read the cancellation and refund draft.

You can cancel the platform anytime and receive a refund of its INR 1,600 fee. The consultation fee and completed physiotherapy sessions are excluded. Treatment of uncompleted sessions and pre-consultation cancellation, processing times and request methods remain to be confirmed. Any question about why you are leaving is optional and will not block cancellation.

The care journey starts with a day-1 doctor consultation and plan, communicated over WhatsApp. Home physio session 1 is before day 7; session 2 is one month later, and session 3 another month later. A renewal check-in takes place two weeks after session 3 with the self-enrolled patient, or the authorised report-receiving caretaker who arranged their parent’s care. Renewal terms require a separate agreement.

10. Intellectual property

ami and its licensors own the Services, brand, programme materials, software and content, except information you provide. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use programme materials for your own care. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Services except as law permits.

11. Privacy and confidentiality

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Health messaging carries inherent privacy risks, especially on shared devices and third-party platforms. You are responsible for choosing secure device and notification settings appropriate to you.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ami, subject to any enrolment terms. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for safety, non-payment, misuse, legal compliance, service closure or serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and information about continuity of care.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Final limitation-of-liability language, the contracting legal entity, governing law and dispute process will be confirmed before programme enrolment opens.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the Services develop. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel and take effect as stated in the notice. Final support and legal contact details will be added before programme enrolment opens.
